Why Should You Buy Soy Candles?
Most candles on the market today are made of paraffin wax. Paraffin wax is a left over residue from gasoline refining. It contains 11 toxins and is not healthy for you. Why would you want to put that in your body? Furthermore, those candles produce soot which is the black substance that collects inside of a candle in a jar. Soot will settle on your walls, decorations, and lungs. While anything that burns will produce soot, soy candles emit little to no soot in comparison to other candles on the market today.
Many companies now add less expensive paraffin wax to a small amount of soywax and the claim is made that it is a soy candle. Beware of soy blend claims!

6. Soywax can be cleaned off of surfaces with soap and water, but remember, although it is biodegradable, it is still wax! Avoid pouring down your drains.
7. Soywax can hold more fragrance oil and the scent throw is awesome!
